IHRAM GUIDE
Your Guide to Ihram Preparation
What is Ihram?
Ihram is the sacred state a Muslim enters before performing Umrah or Hajj. It involves spiritual preparation, specific clothing requirements, and observing certain rules until the pilgrimage rites are completed.
Preparing your skin before entering Ihram can help improve comfort throughout your journey, especially in hot climates and during extended periods of walking.
Preparing for Ihram
Before making your intention (Niyyah) and entering Ihram, it is Sunnah to:

✓ Trim nails
✓ Remove unwanted body hair
✓ Apply fragrance to the body (not the Ihram garments)
✓ Wear clean Ihram clothing
